Electro Wave Release von Distance Mit "At The End Of All Things" veröffentlichen DISTANCE am 14.Mai ihr erstes Album auf ECHOZONE. Das Projekt ist eine Kooperation zwischen Avalist, der in den 90ern mit dem Projekt Misantrophe einige Alben produzierte, und Rene, dessen Projekt ZERITAS in Kürze ebenfalls ein neues Album veröffentlichen wird.DISTANCE zelebrieren auf ihrem Album hypnotischen Electro-Wave, fernab stampfender Beats und klischeebeladener Lyrics. Nicht zuletzt durch die kongeniale Fusion der Stimmen beider Mitglieder erreichen die Songs eine interessante emotionale Tiefe. Der melancholisch-düstere Grundton, verstärkt von der auf den Punkt eingesetzten elektronischen Instrumentierung, zieht sich wie ein roter Faden durch die 12 Songs des Albums, dessen musikalische Verwandschaft zu DE/VISION oder Depeche Mode zwar unüberhörbar ist, aber niemals aufgesetzt wirkt. Minusheart Remix Album Mit "Healed" legen Minusheart nach ihrem Debüt "Disease" aus dem letzten Jahr ihr erstes Remix-Album vor, welches am 30.April veröffentlicht wird.Die 17 Remix-Versionen, die thematisch in zwei Abschnitte, "Hospitalisation" und "Disinfection", unterteilt sind, führen die ursprünglichen Kompositionen in höchst unterschiedliche Spielarten elektronischer EBM-Klangwelten. So zeigen die Remixe im ersten Teil, u.a. von "art deko", "monosys", "destroid" und "menschliche energie", die Clubtauglichkeit der Originale, wohingegen Teil zwei, u.a. mit Remixen von "accessory", "klangsturrm" und "alter der ruine", eher experimentelle Industrial-EBM Klänge hervorhebt. Gemastert wurde das Album erneut von "Accessory"-Mastermind Dirk Steyer. Wie auch "Disease" kann "Healed" durch hohe Eigenständigkeit und Experimentierfreude punkten, und dürfte die Wartezeit auf Album No.2, welches bereits in Produktion ist, angenehm verkürzen. Aktuelles Album von Denight Nach ihrem viel beachteten Debüt-Album "Above and Beyond" liefern Denight mit "Human Reflections" (v.ö. 14.Mai) ein düsteres Rock-Album ab, welches erneut durch episch-mitreissende Arrangements überzeugen kann.Die sechsköpfige Band um Komponist Tim, Gründungsmitglied und Ex-Gitarrist von Diary Of Dreams, und Sänger/Texter Stephan beweist erneut, dass ihre eigene Goth-Rock Mischung dem Genre neue Impulse verleihen kann. Neues Gothic Rock Album von Reactive Black Das zweite Reactive Black Album mit dem Titel "A New Dawn" wird am 14.Mai diesen Jahres über Echozone erscheinen.Wie bereits auf ihrem Debüt "Upcoming Evil" bestechen die 11 Songs des neuen Albums erneut durch Sassy Skeleton's ungewöhnlich tiefen weiblichen Gesang und tiefschwarzen Goth-Rock-Kompositionen. Die rythmisch-bleischwere Gitarrenarbeit von Songschreiber Rotten zieht sich wie ein roter Faden durch die Arrangements und unterstreicht den düsteren Grundton des Albums. Mit "A New Dawn" zelebrieren Reactive Black Gitarren-orientierten Goth-Rock mit einem guten Schuss Melancholie und Eingängigkeit, der sich, trotz erkennbarer Verwandschaft zu Bands wie "Skeletal Family" oder auch "Love Like Blood", auf seine eigene Art selbst definiert hat. Zeritas veröffentlichen Debüt-Album Am 7.Mai erscheint über Echozone / Intergroove das Debüt-Album von Zeritas, deren Mitglieder schon seit einigen Jahren in diversen anderen Projekten unterschiedlicher Musikrichtung tätig sind. Bereits 2005 belegte die Band beim, vom Sonic Seducer veranstalteten, "Battle Of The Bands" den dritten Platz.Das Projekt zeigt sich als ein harmonisches Zusammenspiel zwischen Gothic, Elektronik, Romantic und Dark Wave mit einem Schuss "Element of Crime", und wurde bis auf eine Ausnahme in deutscher Sprache eingesungen. Gemastert wurde das Album von Thomas Heimann-Trosi, der bereits für Blutengel, Letzte Instanz, Qntal, Subway To Sally und Terminal Choice gearbeitet hat. Neues Album von Remember Twilight Nach einer CD-EP aus dem Jahr 2007 erscheint am 23.4. das zweite Album von Remember Twilight über Echozone / Intergroove.Auf "Musik über Niedergang & Verderben" bietet die Band erneut eine frische Mischung aus Metal/Hardcore, mittelalterlich-klassischer Instrumentierung und deutschen Texten. Dabei überzeugt die Band, deren Musik man vielleicht am besten mit "Kammermusik-Core" bezeichnen könnte, erneut mit abwechslungsreichen Songideen jenseits verbrauchter "Mittelalter-Rock"-Klischees. Neben einem"Metallspürhunde-Remix des Songs "KdD" bietet das Album ein besonderes Highlight in Form einer eindringlich vorgetragenen Version des Klassikers "Mackie Messer" aus der Feder von Kurt Weill/Bertolt Brecht. Matt Walker, who plays the drums on the EP as well as the album has already worked with Morressey, Smashing Pumpkins and Garbage.Double Elvis are confirmed as a supporting act for New Model Army in Brest on February 12 2010. The band soon will be playing a few shows in Germany. Fourth album by White Rose Transmission White Rose Transmission is a collaboration of different musicicans around Carlo van Putten (Dead Guitars) and they soon will release their fourth album on ECHOZONE. During the last 14 years White Rose Transmission could always try sout something new since there were always new guest musicians joining them who added something new to their music-e.g. Marty Wilson(The Church) or Mark Burgess(The Chameleons).White Rose Transmissions last album was released in 2006, seven years after the death of founding member Adrian Borland. This was the first album featuring guitarist and painting artist Rob Keijzer. The band's fourth album "Spiders in the Mind Web" will be released this spring. Frank Weyzig, who played guitar and keyboards in the original Clan of Xymox lineup and singer of Born for Bliss (see below), became a regular member of White Rose Transmission. White Rose Transmission's fourth album is a prove that handmade acoustic music can still be beautiful and also catchy and without any of the stereotypic self-pity. Lost In Desire album Release Stephan S., a musician from Vienna, will soon release his first self-titled album on ECHOZONE, after working on various other projects during the last few years. He is also responsible for remixing the recent single of the Austrian singer/songwriter Eva K.Anderson.Lost in Desire combines classic guitar wave with an opulent pop sound and exactly the right portion of melancholy. The 11 songs on the album have a certain natural charm thanks to the excellent production, the brilliant vocals and the variety of sounds the songs have to offer. The songs on "Lost in Desire remind you of an epic sound tapestry (e.g. "Vampire" or "I am you") as well as some lighter wave-pop songs("Walking on Air"). You can always discover something new in every song on the album. Lost Inc.-new release by White Pulp With their new album Lost Inc. White Pulp still follow the path they made with their first album and in no way White Pulp are "lost". Their new songs have this clear and pure industrial rock sound. White Pulp manage to captivate their listeners with every song on the album. Lost Inc has everything a good industrial rock album needs-catchy songs with great melodies, a lot of guitars and elements of noise pop. On the album is also a brilliant cover version of the classic Tears For Fears song "Mad World" as well as acoustic versions of "Crow's Love", "Black Out" and "Sacred Eyes" that were on White Pulp's first album "Ashamed of Yourself". New EP by No Comment After No Comment's coverversion of the Dead or Alive classic "You Spin Me Round" was used in the pilot for the sixth season of the US-series "Desperate Housewives", No Comment will now release an EP which will be a small taste of the upcoming remix album( which is long overdue anyway). On "Like A Record" you can find No Comment's original version of "You Spin Me Round" as well as the 2010-remix. There are also 3 new remixes of songs from No Comment's album Polyradah(Secrets,The Museum and Cafe Sureal) mixed by Datasushi, Nachzehrer and Crush in Basement. The EP is also including a coverversion of the Vangelis song Pulstar. New electro-album by Lost Area After Lost Area released their album Man Machine in 2008 the three-piece will release their third album on Echozone in April/May. The album contains 13 songs plus an exclusive Gecko Sector remix of their song "Unborn". The album offers a mixture of electronic and future pop and you can really hear that the band managed to improve their sound once again. The powerful voice of singer/guitarist Markus Baer combined with Andi Grundler's rough voice makes the songs sound very unique. The album was produced and mastered by Gerrit Thomas(Funker Vogt) who added this little extra power to the album-just exactly what the album needed. Golden Apes: Sixth album! Golden Apes are about to release their sixth album. The album will be called "Denying the Towers Our Words Are Falling from...". At the same time Golden Apes' backcatalogue(all albums that were released since 2000) will be available worldwide as a download. With their new album the Golden Apes show everyone why the band around the charismatic Peer Lebrecht has been shaking aróund the alternative wave and gothic scene for over ten years now. Songs like "Liberation"(which will also be on the upcoming ECHOZONE compilation) sound much like the Golden Apes' idols Love Like Blood or Zeraphine. But the album has more to offer. "Denying..." captures the sound of classic wave-rock bands like The Chameleons or The Convenent who both still influence a lot of bands. The Golden Apes are already booked for the German WGT Festival 2010 as well as the Dark Place Festival, more dates to follow. Gothic rock from the US-Saints of Ruin Saints of Ruin's first album will be released on Echozone this spring. When the band toured the US their fans just loved them. Their album "Nightmare" is an old-school gothic album-the twelve tracks are full of energy and power. On the album you can also find a gothic version of the classic Concrete Blonde song "Bodyletting". Bionic are back! In the 90s Bionics songs were nearly on every EBM compilation that was out there, they released an album and shared the stage with bands like Krupps or A Grumph. This spring Bionic will be back with their new album "Close to Nature". There are ten tracks on the album plus two additional remixes by Minusheart and Accessory. Bionic show that electronic body music is still alive and that it can have a modern sound without having to use the electronic elements. The songs on "Close to Nature" show everything EBM can offer and one thing is for sure-Bionic really know their trade. Born for Bliss-second album! Born for Bliss are back!!! 12 years after the release of their debut album "Flowing with the Flue" ECHOZONE will release their second album "Between Living and Dreaming". Born for Bliss was formed by guitarist/singer Frank Weyzig, who played guitar and keyboards in the original lineup of Clan of Xymox in the 80s.Between Living & Dreaming” contains eleven songs and four previously unreleased bonus tracks. “Dragon”, is one of these tracks. Frank initially has written this song for Xymox in the 80’s. "Ylene" is another previously unreleased titel that was originally written for Love Like Blood. The 15 songs on "Between Living and Dreaming" are all influenced by the classic wave-rock sound. Frank Weyzig is also a member of White Rose Transmission(see above), whose album will also be released this spring. Echozone Festival 12 February 2010 in Soest/Germany We are happy to announce that we will host our first "Echozone-Festival" this year at the "21" in Soest/Germany on Friday 12 February 2010. Akanoid, Eigensinn and the industrial rock band White Pulp from Italy will be playing that night. Daggy, a musician from Soest will be the supporting act. Akanoid have released 6 albums in their 12-year long career. Amaong the 6 albums is also their most recent release "Civil Demon". Akanoid are currently working on a new album which will be finished in early 2011. The band Eigensinn around female singer Nemesis was formed in 2003. Their debut album "Die Wahrheit" was released 3 years later in 2009. Eigensinn is famous for their energetic live-shows. White Pulp from Italy were formed by singer/guitarist Sonny after he was playing over 200 shows with his Marilyn Manson tribute band "Posthuman". In 2009 White Pulp's debut album "Ashamed Of Yourself" was released. Their are on tour now with their soon to be released album "Lost Inc." As a supporting act you can see daggy who will have her debut on stage. Daggy was a member of Akanoid and she is known as a great DJ in Soest. Whispers In The Shadow -New album this spring Whispers In The Shadow's new album "The Eternal Arcane" will be released this spring. The band around singer and songwriter Ashley Dayour continue what they have started on their last album "Into The Arms Of Chaos", but the band also tried something new. Apart from the usual epic songs like the ten-minute long title track there is also some gothic rock ("The Lost Souls" or "From Aeon To Aeon") and songs like "Blood; Sweat and Tears" which are much harder than the usual Whispers' songs. The band has also produced their first official video clip for "Blood, Sweat and Tears".
