Am zweiten Märzwochenende findet nun schon zum dritten mal das Dark Spring Festival im legendären Berliner SO36 statt. Wie auch in den Jahren zuvor hält man weiter an dem Independent Gedanken fest, nur Bands einzuladen die fernab von Mainstream und zweifelhaften Mode Erscheinungen mit ihrer Musik und der damit verbundenen Bühnenpräsens überzeugen können.

Die gelungene Mischung aus 80tis-Wave,Post Punk, Gothrock und Deathrock wurde bereits von Bands wie: Merciful Nuns, Escape with Romeo, Nosferatu, Whispers in the Shadow, Pretentious Moi?, Midas Fall und Vendemmian präsentiert.
In diesem Jahr dürfen wir uns auf folgende Bands freuen:

Und wer sich dann noch nicht genügend bei den Live-Darbietungen verausgabt hat kann das dann im Anschuss bei der Aftershowparty mit den Berliner Szene DJ´s ORLOG & RAGNAR (bekannt von Blütenrausch-Party, Montags-Duncker, Königin der Nacht, Dark Friday, Black-Party…usw.) ausgiebig nachholen.

JOVIAN SPIN will be releasing their debut album "Shapes of Perception" on April 13th through ECHOZONE. The album will contain 12 hypnotic industrial-rock tracks, which combine the groove and hard, vast arrangements of rock with the cold and clear straightness of Electro and Industrial. Impulsive electric sounds connected with massive guitar riffs and a foundation of drum & bass - that is JOVIAN SPIN.

Yelling a big “We don´t care” to old fashioned genre behavior it´s the German Newcomers Jovian Spin on their way to break up encrusted boundaries in modern music.

The german based indie-dark-rock band MUNDTOT will release their debut full length album "Spätsommer" on April 20th through ECHOZONE. After their first EP "Endzeit", released in 2010, the band has created an album with 11 songs, which define a crossover between independent/alternative styles, guitar and electronic sounds, dark and gothic elements and intelligent german lyrics. MUNDTOT's sound is raw, unpolished and stays true to their approach of creating something unique but emotional familiar to the audience.

The second album by belgian cold wave band DER KLINKE will be released on April 27th on CD and limited 500 piece VINYL. The new album will contain 10 songs full of powerful dark energy and intense atmospheric tunes. One year after their highly acclaimed debut "Square Moon" the new album redefines their unique style of transforming classic electronic cold wave into the current century.

On April 13th the third and brand new BIONIC album "Meadowland" will hit the shops. As a predecessor to the album the "Contamination" EP will be available for download starting from February 24th. The EP will contain the title track plus three non-album instrumental / playback versions.

The 12 track album marks new territory for the project, adding heavy breakbeat sounds, guitars, pumping basslines, catchy lytrics and melodies to a dark, dense and intoxicating sound.

We are proud to announce that the London based greek Industrial-Rock/Metal band HANNIBAL signed to ECHOZONE and will release their long awaited second album "CYBERIA" in spring 2012. The band will go on a tour starting from January 29th, 2012 to March 2nd and will support Tarja Turunen (ex-Nightwish).

The brand new album, to be released in March 2012, will be sold as a special exclusive pre-release on that tour for the fans and it will also be available directly from the band's website.

Winter is coming up with a bunch of EPs to be released between 9th and 23th december. !distain, Traumtaenzer and Lost Area will be starting off tomorrow with their EPs. All are available via Download and Traumtaenzer and Lost Area EPs will also be available as strictly limited digi-EPs.

Following on december 23th the brand new project by Descendants Of Cain Mastermind DM Kruger "The Pressure Cell" will hit the digital shops with the 4-track EP "Through These Lights".

Rick Prokein is officially announced as a !distain band member. Rick, who is no stranger to the fans, has appeared as keyboardist and percussionist in !distain's live line-up since 2005. In 2010, he contributed the vocals to "Hole In The Moon" and also appears as the lead voice of the upcoming !distain single "monokultur" which will be released via echozone as a download-single on all major download-portals on December 9th, 2011. The video to the song was filmed during the !distain concert in Cologne in October and will premiere on November 25th, 2011, on youtube.

Lost Area is back! Stepping into a new level of their history, the band is now stronger and more creative than ever before. The video clip for the brand new song "Black Storm" is now online, and it introduces for the first time the new band members VDiva (lead vocals) and Chris Fox (drums). Only after a few days the new clip was watched more than 11,000 times on YouTube. Rocking and catchy beats together with the charismatic voice of the new lead singer VDiva (Violent Diva, Adam Kult) are ready to go directly into your ears and make you dance.

After more than 20 years of history THE ARCH ("Babsi ist tot") are back with a brand new album called "Engine In Void" which will be released on ECHOZONE on November 4th. Again the band demonstrates and celebrates their very own and individual style of electronic based wave / post-punk and indie-electro music. "Engine In Void" is a powerful, emotional, dark and atmospheric collection of songs which set the standards not only for THE ARCH.

After their club tour in spring 2011 and successful performance on this year’s anniversary WGT festival VLAD IN TEARS will release their highly awaited third album “Welcome To Vladyland” on ECHOZONE on November 11th. The band will go on a European / German tour to promote the album release.

UK's goth rock / wave band THE LAST CRY's debut album "Walking To The Edge" will be distributed and promoted by ECHOZONE within the upcoming releases. The band played with THE MISSION, ALL ABOUT EVE, THE DAMNED and VENDEMMIAN in the past and will release the second edition of their album on November 11th.

After having played several shows in the past few years with MEGAHERZ, OOMPH, STAHLMANN, JBO, EIGENSINN and many other German industrial-metal bands HERZPARASIT is going to release their debut album on November 4th.

The LAKOBEIL debut album "Strange Encounter" by composer and producer Dirk Lakomy (In My Rosary, ex Umbra Et Imago, producer of Derriere Le Miroir) and vocalist Tobias Birkenbeil will be released on ECHOZONE on November 11th. The electronic-wave project demonstrates a wide range of musical styles between EBM, New / Cold-Wave, Electro-Pop and Electroclash and will also present their music live on stage soon.

The Belgian electro-wave project NORTHERN SADNESS will release their debut album on October 28th on ECHOZONE. The album is called "Riddles Of Lunacy" and will contain 14 tracks including a cover version of RED ZERBRA's classic "I Can't Live In A Living Room" along with a well selected and varying collection of songs in the tradition of Belgian dark and industrial electronic music.

Previous to the album release a special download EP will be released on October 14th called "All This Noise EP". The six-track EP will include the title track, two additional remixes and three exclusive tracks.

Electro Pop duo CHANNEL EAST will release their second album "Window To Earth" on ECHOZONE label in cooperation with CODELINE RECORDS on October 28th. The album will feature 11 catchy electro-pop songs plus three exclusive remixes done by FROZEN PLASMA, ASSEMBLAGE 23 and RE:LEGION.

ALIEN HAND SYNDROME will release their debut album called "The Sincere And The Cryptic" on October 21st on ECHOZONE. The ten songs of the album, located somewhere in between the grey area of goth, indie, alternative and industrial music, are representing a varied combination of emotions and compositions from dark-melancholic, sometimes unsettled arrangements and catchy hooklines which are even more intensified by the analogue and well produced sound of the album.

There will also be a special iTunes download version with two exclusive bonus tracks available.

The 6th DESCENDANTS OF CAIN album "Songs From A Vanishing World" will be released on ECHOZONE on October 14th.

With this album Mastermind DM Kruger created a concept which is based on stories being told about mankind decades after a global catastrophy, which has destroyed most of our planet. And again the music has evolved even more into a kind of "progressive gothic-rock", which still has dark and hard edges, but adds many more elements to the overall sound and lyrics.

Shares from the album sales will be donated to the Wildlife Heritage Foundation.

The third album from Swedish goth-rock band DR. ARTHUR KRAUSE will be promoted and distributed by ECHOZONE starting from autumn this year. With the third album the band even more created and developed their own style of a darker and harder goth-rock sound, while adding some new refreshing elements to the new songs.

The album is now available at INFRAROT in Germany.

Austrian alternative rock project LOST IN DESIRE will release the new remix album "Reborn From The Ashes" on October 7th.

The 11-track album will include remixes and re-interpretations for each song of the self titled debut album featuring APOPTYGMA BERZERK, ASSEMBLAGE 23, STENDECK, RAZED IN BLACK, IMPERATIVE REACTION, SILICON BROTHERS, DAVID PFISTER plus the two ECHOZONE bands WHISPERS IN THE SHADOW and BORN FOR BLISS.

Norwegian goth rock project LIQUID GREY will release their debut album "Grey Matter" on October 21st on ECHOZONE.

The solo project of ex-Flowers Of Romance and New Zero God guitarist Mr. Grey defines nordish influenced gothic / wave rock on 13 album tracks with a variety of genre-styles and influences from classic goth / dark rock, new wave and 80s post punk. Some people may say it is called "goth rock for highways" - be prepared.

On October 14th the new Arsine Tibé album "Good Evening, The Mountain Said" will be released on ECHOZONE. Arsine Tibé is a solo project of !distain member Manfred Thomaser. As guest vocalists Seyhan, Tania Murray and Alex Braun are contributing to the album.

Previous to the album release the 5-track Single "Skyline·- Deep And Dead" is digitally released on September 16th. The single includes three exclusive instrumental tracks plus two radio edits for the songs "Skyline - Deep And Dead (feat. Tania Murray)" and "Dawn At Night (feat. Tania Murray)".

After their 2009 debut "Disease" and last year's remix album "Healed" electro project MINUSHEART will release their new album on October 7th. The album is called "The Big Idea" and contains 12 brand new tracks which again reinforce their unique style in modern electronic / ebm / industrial music. "The Big Idea" is a well selected collection of melodic, experimental and inventive electronic music without the need for any ingratiation to musical styles and boundaries.

The former two-person project has evolved into a band with singer and mastermind Diver collaborating with guitarist Vary (ex-Cyme In Bloom), drummer Wildhoney (RevCo, Tying Tiffany) and Upstream on keys. Be prepared for the next "Big Idea" live on stage soon.
