Minerve After the albums "Sensefiction“ (2004) and "Breathing Avenue“ (2006) as well as several singles, Minerve are going to release their third album "Please" on October 22nd on ECHOZONE / SONY MUSIC. Olaf Wollschläger who a. o. had already worked for Yello, Paradise Lost, And One, Unheilig and Mesh, produced the album's twelve songs. The album was audio-mastered by mastermind John Cremer (Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, Kraftwerk, Eurythmics) who put the finishing touches to the crisp and very transparent sound. On "Please" composer Mathias Türk, singer Daniel Wollatz and keyboard player Andreas Wollatz press again every button to come closer to their definition of the perfect electro pop sound. At the same time "Please" seems to be composed in an audibly catchier way and definitely more orchestrated to the point than its predecessors, and offers a variety of powerful melodies, danceable beats and vocals floating over the music. It is thanks to the large number of potential "electro pop hits" that the band will be able to release three digital EPs including numerous bonus tracks in the next few months. In addition, the first two albums being out of print in awhile, are available again as re-releases with bonus tracks by now. In spring, the band did already an extensive Russian tour. Now, they are preparing for upcoming shows in autumn (tour booking agency: Massmovement). Webside: www.minerve.de MySpace: www.myspace.com/minerveband |
