Robin Beck can look back on a successful career as a singer. After singing in various cover bands and participating in other projects, e.g. taking part in the Broadway musical "Got To Go Disco" Robin Beck released her first album "Sweet Talk" in 1979. Robin Beck started to record commercial jingles and she came to work with all the big names in the business. And thanks to Coca Cola people all around the world could hear her song "First Time". The song hit the number one spot in the charts in Great Britain, Germany, Austria and in several other countries and she appeared on various stages allover the world and on shows like Top of the Pops, etc.
This was the start of her career.Her second album "Trouble or Nothing" featured songs by Steve Lukather (Toto), Paul Stanley (Kiss), Diane Warren, Jeff Kent and Desmond Child just to name a few.Since then Robin Beck is seen as one of the best AOR-singers.
Apart from her career as a solo artist Robin Beck was also a popular background singer for studio recordings as well as live performances. She shared the stage with Patty Austin, Tina Turner and Richard Marx and recorded songs with David Bowie, Michael Bolton, Deep Purple, Cher, etc.
Now, for the 20th anniversary edition of "Trouble or Nothing", Robin Beck has re-recorded the entire album and added 4 more original and powerful songs written by Robin and her writing partner Tommy Denander. The tiny singer still packs a powerful punch and once again Robin Beck proves to be a blessed singer and songwriter who is able to catch her listeners with the updated and fresh versions of her unforgettable songs.
